TJF is a small custom hunting arms manufacturer in Suhl, Germany. Suhl was the center of the gun making trade in Germany for over 300 years, with many of the most famous names in the hunting arms business having originated from there. Until the beginning of WW II as many as forty custom gun makers could be found in Suhl at any one time. The city has a rich tradition of fine craftsmanship and innovative design. TJF is dedicated to carry on this tradition of fine hand craftsmanship in traditional German SXS rifles, shot guns, and combinations. TJF also has a restoration service where they carefully restore old pre-war Suhl guns to their former grandeur.

SXS ShotgunsTJF specializes in small gauge shotguns, eg. 20, 28, and 410ga. However, 12 and 16 ga. are available on request. Standard models feature a scalloped Anson & Deeley boxlock with double triggers ejectors, and game scene engraving. The 28 ga. Model is available in two frame sizes, a standard frame (same as the 20 ga.) or a petite frame.

The petite frame models in 28 and 410 gauge have frame sizes that are reduced specifically for the individual caliber making them particularly delicate and slender. All stocks are walnut, with the dimensions and style per customer request. Barrels are chopper-lump construction with the length and choke as requested.
